My first Kindle for iPhone experience

So I decided to take the plunge into the world of eBooks and purchased my first books on my iPhone via the free Kindle app.

Thanks to my new friend Scott Laird, I was intrigued to read some books based upon his recommendations.  He recommended the following:

  • Grown Up Digital by Don Tapscott
  • Distrupting Class by Clayton Christensen

While I’m not a reader, I have found the books very interesting and motivating.

My experience with the Kindle app has been pretty good.  I find that reading the text is easy on the eyes.  It’s big enough to not cause strain, but small enough to fit a reasonable amount of text on the iPhone’s screen.  Given the ease of use, the simplicity of purchasing Kindle books, and readability, I can recommend the Kindle for iPhone.

I am, however, looking forward to purchasing my iPad and bet this will be a revolutionary Ebook reader (and more).
